LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Supply Planner for our client in the Dayton, NJ area.
This direct hire role focuses on inventory management and requires approximately 20% travel, both domestic and international. The position demands a strong background in supply chain planning, global import protocols, and operations. Ideal candidates will have at least five years of experience in supply chain planning, especially within a technology-focused manufacturing environment, with proficiency in sourcing and demand planning. Candidates must be adaptable to change, possess strong communication skills, and be capable of asking open-ended questions. CANDIDATES MUST HAVE STRONG EXPERIENCE IN DRIVING S&OP PROCESS!!!! Salary range: $80,000 to $85,000 DOE. Responsibilities: Oversee inventory levels to meet customer demands, recommend and execute product purchases based on demand inputs and vendor capacity. Develop strategies to optimize inventory, improving days inventory outstanding and reducing backorders. Issue purchase requisitions and track conversions to vendor purchase orders in SAP. Identify root causes of Customer Service Rate (CSR) issues weekly and provide action items to planners. Manage inventories across distribution centers, create product transfers, and maintain stock levels. Manage projects such as inventory liquidations. Collaborate with analysts to complete inventory reports. Work with demand planners/analysts to forecast and prioritize demand under capacity constraints. Handle seasonal system setups and line plans, working with stakeholders to meet financial goals, and support S&OP supply review meetings. Investigate issues and opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Industrial Engineering. Proven experience in driving S&OP processes. Experience leading or mentoring supply planning teams. Minimum 5 years in forecasting, procurement, demand, and supply planning within manufacturing. PowerBi expertise – Advanced Reporting, DAX, Data Modeling. At least 4 years in supply chain management, vendor relations, and production planning. Minimum 2 years of ERP experience with SAP/S4HANA. Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables, PowerQuery, VBA Macros. Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic environment. Strong problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset. Experience working with large data sets. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities.
