The Outreach Manager identifies potential agents/brokers and contracts with those who meet our criteria. The Outreach Manager provides direct oversight and support to contracted agents, communicates organizational needs, oversees broker/agent performance, and provides support as needed. This role also establishes and maintains community relationships, and identifies and implements organizational development. Essential Job Functions Supports the IIH Business Development department’s participant (PTP) recruitment efforts and enrollment assistance for IIH’s PACE program Provides direct support and management to the contracted brokers/agents Completes marketing and sales training for all contracted brokers/agents Provides ongoing outreach training to contracted partners Participates in community health events, education activities, and PACE-sponsored events Develops meaningful relationships with community organizations including senior and cultural centers, churches, doctors’ offices, and housing communities Engages in mandatory and ongoing training to achieve intake, enrollment, and program goals Provides PACE referral and community health resource information to PACE-eligible seniors and families Assists with setup of health education and PACE information booths Attends industry conferences and seminars to recruit new partners and stay updated on trends Maintains and reviews the annual Community Outreach and Marketing calendar Tracks broker/agent activity in the Enrollment Activity Tracker Submits promotional material requests and reports utilization to the VP of Business Development Attends staff meetings and participates in projects as assigned Adheres to, and supports, center practices, procedures, and policies Flexible schedule; may be required to use a personal vehicle for business purposes with valid California Driver’s License, current proof of insurance, and vehicle registration Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Bilingual preferred Sales and/or customer service experience preferred Basic computer skills; MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook) Effective communication, both oral and written Ability to learn department policies, procedures, goals, and services Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to adapt to changing priorities Working Conditions and Physical Demands The working conditions and physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Access to all areas of the center during the workday May require lifting up to 35 pounds occasionally Ability to communicate effectively in English Work is typically indoors in a well-lit, climate-controlled environment Requirements Experience Minimum of two years of sales and/or customer service experience Minimum of one year of experience working with a frail or elderly population One year of supervisory experience preferred Education and Certification High School diploma or GED required 4-year college degree strongly preferred Current CPR/BLS Certification Immunizations up-to-date and cleared for communicable diseases before engaging in direct participant contact Other Requirements All employees facilitating PACE marketing activities are required to pass the PACE marketing exam.
