Dive Recompression Chamber Support Clearance:
Secret Responsibilities (Include But Not Limited To): Perform maintenance on Hyperbaric Facility Equipment as mandated by OPNAVINST 4790 (series), NAVFAC, and NAVSEA instructions, including certified recompression chambers, high air compressors, piping, flasks, cylinders, and test equipment. Ensure equipment standards comply with NAVFAC and NAVSEA certification authority and US Navy Dive Manual. Provide technical support for outside contracted maintenance of the NAVFAC/NAVSEA DLSS Hyperbaric Recompression Chamber System. Assist with preventative and corrective maintenance of MK 25 UBA and support equipment. Conduct inventories of diving equipment and perform customer service related to equipment issues and receipts. Maintain PMS SKED computer program as Work-center supervisor, scheduling and documenting maintenance according to NAVSEAINST 4790.8 (series). Qualifications: Must have Navy Dive School certification (NEC 5342/5342 or higher). Must be qualified as Material Maintenance Management (3M) Maintenance Man, 3M QA Craftsman, and 3M Work Center Supervisor. Must be a factory-trained technician for diving equipment, DLSS Re-Entry Control (REC) Supervisor, oxygen clean system worker, and MK 25 UBA maintenance technician.
