This job is based in Woburn, MA or Andover, MA. This position is designated as ONSITE. Provide business and technical support for repair of Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) as a Sr. Principal Logistics Specialist (Repair & Return). Coordinate and collaborate with repair performers, project leaders, program managers and cross functional areas to ensure repairs are tracked, completed, and returned to the customer in accordance with contract parameters. Direct asset repair and return activities, track assets through the repair process, and prepare correspondence/reports for internal and external asset transactions and approvals. Evaluate expenditures and schedules for repairs and obtain program or customer approval as applicable. Provide guidance to supply chain, operations, and depot logistics points of contact to support procurement, routing of repair material, and the receipt, induction, repair, and shipment of assets. Escalate challenges as needed and collaborate with applicable functional groups to maintain repair schedules. Develop long-term repair and return strategies in concurrence with technical requirements and customer needs. Assess process trends and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce turnaround times. Track, manage and report status and budgets; provide data for monthly contract deliverables and participate in program reviews and customer meetings. Participate in proposals and Basis of Estimates; contribute to risk and opportunity management. Implement continuous process improvement techniques for repair turnaround time and database management; mentor and develop team members. Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with minimum 6 years of experience, or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience with sustainment services, repair and return, or product support in a military or civilian environment. Experience with logistics support, depot repair facilities and related processes or manufacturing. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. Detail oriented with strong written and oral communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment. Knowledge of logistics principles; radar or sensors system product knowledge; experience with ALCS, PRISM, MSALT, or similar SAP and Citrix systems; experience developing and routing DD250 and DD1149 forms. Understanding of government acquisitions process and DoD/DFAR statutes and regulations. Experience in program planning, budgeting and tracking (EVMS) to cost and schedule. Onsite role type definition: Onsite employees work primarily onsite, including production and maintenance roles. The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD.
