Job Summary The Director, Business Process Architecture is a critical subject matter expert within the GTM Transformation team, responsible for designing and optimizing end-to-end GTM workflows across the CRO organization. This role represents the voice of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience in enterprise process design, ensuring that systems and workflows are built to enable seller and customer success through an optimized experience. Operating as both a technical and strategic partner, this individual collaborates across functions and with enterprise architects to remove friction, define future-state processes, and drive scalable transformation.
Responsibilities
Architect and document future-state GTM workflows across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience, with a strategic focus on the full customer lifecycle
Identify friction points and inefficiencies in current-state processes and design solutions to address them
Act as a customer lifecycle architect, ensuring process designs enhance both customer experience and seller effectiveness across each stage of the journey
Ensure process designs are scalable, repeatable, and aligned with CRO priorities and enterprise standards
Collaborate with Technology, Enterprise Architecture, and other business process owners to translate GTM business needs into scalable process and system requirements, where applicable
Advocate for CRO priorities by providing clear business context, ensuring process changes are well understood and appropriately supported — without assuming technical ownership
Partner with GTM leaders to ensure process designs reflect operational realities and frontline needs
Collaborate with GTM Strategy, Program Management, and Change leads to ensure cohesive transformation delivery
Represent CRO Ops in enterprise forums, advocating for GTM-specific requirements and improvements
Contribute to the launch of new operating models, sales plays, and use cases by ensuring process readiness
Support the development of transformation playbooks and frameworks that embed process excellence
Drive alignment between process architecture and customer lifecycle maturity
Establish process documentation standards and governance mechanisms to maintain integrity and traceability
Monitor process performance and adoption, using insights to inform iterative improvements
Maintain a repository of GTM process assets and best practices for reuse and scale
Contribute to the build-out of the GTM Transformation team of the future
Coach team members to strengthen strategic thinking, business acumen, and executional discipline
Champion a culture of agility, transparency, and enterprise-first thinking
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience
Experience: preferably some management / technical consulting experience
Experience: Substantial / 8+ years in process design, business architecture, or operations roles, ideally within GTM or CRO environments
Technical Exposure: Experience working with Salesforce, CPQ/quoting platforms, and enterprise systems
Industry Background: Experience in technology, SaaS, or data center environments preferred
Global Experience: Proven ability to design and implement processes across diverse geographies and business models
Methodologies: Familiarity with process modelling tools and frameworks (e.g., BPMN, Lean Six Sigma)
Systems Thinking: Ability to view processes holistically and understand interdependencies across functions
Technical Fluency: Comfort working with technology teams and translating business needs into system requirements
Collaboration & Influence: Strong ability to partner across functions and influence without authority
Detail Orientation: Precision in process documentation and governance
Customer-Centric Mindset: Focus on improving seller and customer experience through process design
Adaptability: Ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and adjust to evolving priorities
Communication: Clear and structured communicator, able to engage technical and non-technical audiences
Pay Range Target pay range: United States – $155,000 – $233,000 USD / Annual; Canada – $166,000 – $248,000 CAD / Annual.
