You will rotate through various units within the hospital to gain valuable and varied experience while working alongside an experienced nurse to help mentor and guide you in your learning. Located in New Castle, PA, UPMC Jameson is the acute care hub for the Lawrence and Mercer County region. Together with UPMC Horizon in Mercer County, UPMC Jameson provides a regionalized approach to healthcare. What is the Graduate Nurse Rotational Program (GNRP)? UPMC Jameson is pleased to announce we are now hiring Graduate Nurses as full-time Staff Nurses to support various hospital units as part of a special Rotational Program starting Summer 2026. Previous participants have had the opportunity to rotate through various Medical Surgical Units at UPMC Jameson for 9 months. Why join the Graduate Nurse Rotational Program? The Professional Staff Nurse provides highly competent patient care and treatment while demonstrating empathy and a passion for learning. This role requires independent judgment, fluent communication, and partnership with physicians, care providers, patients, and families to achieve desired outcomes throughout the continuum of care. As a member of the care delivery team, you will set standards for nursing care and be responsible for its provision, exemplifying a commitment to the community and the nursing profession. Our RNs work rotating 12-hour shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage. GNs must be eligible for State Board Licensure and pass the exam before starting or have a Temporary Practice Permit with a commitment to take the NCLEX within 6 months of hire.
