The Project Manager (PM) position is responsible for the safe and efficient planning, coordination, execution and closeout of project management activities for all assigned capital projects while achieving cost and schedule certainty. Typical capital projects may involve the construction of new or reconfigured distribution lines, new or rebuilt transmission lines, new or upgraded substations, upgrades to protective relays or telecommunications equipment, etc. with both internal and external business drivers. The PM is responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of capital projects while adhering to applicable corporate policies including the Stage Gate Lite and Stage Gate processes. The responsibilities require the PM to work closely with cross-functional departments to define project objectives, develop proposed solutions / alternatives and otherwise establish a solid foundation by which the project can be successfully executed upon throughout the project life cycle. Job Duties/Responsibilities

Lead a team of project stakeholders through the definition and execution stages of the project life cycle to effectively and timely complete the required project objectives all whilst adhering to the Stage Gate Lite and Stage Gate processes Engage and lead cross-functional departments including Grid / Asset Management, Transmission Planning, Distribution Asset Planning, Design, Construction, Environmental, ROW, Distribution, Telecom, etc. Support development of detailed project scopes, cost estimates, milestone schedules, constraint / risk identification and corresponding mitigation plans, outage requirements and construction sequencing through the creation of a Project Execution Plan (PEP) Serve as the lead point of contact for a given project such that the stakeholders are provided an inclusive platform to collaborate and otherwise define / execute the project objectives Ensure that follow-up items and/or critical decisions are driven to closure and documented Effectively communicate the project deliverables to the appropriate approval levels, as specified by the Stage Gate Lite and Stage Gate processes. Schedule and facilitate all meetings with the relevant project stakeholders required to complete the assigned project deliverables. Lead and participate in on-site visits during scoping activities, pre-construction planning and execution Participate in bid events associated with construction contracting including formal evaluations of safety, technical and commercial performance. Manage the Funding Project (FP) and work order(s) via cost tracking tools. Serve as the company representative when interfacing with external entities and/or customers on project-related matters. Ensure that all close-out activities are accurately and timely performed including working with the relevant stakeholders for RU updates, ENs, ISNs, as-builts, etc. and organizing / storing all project documents within the established document repositories Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management (or related field) OR 4 years equivalent/related work experience in lieu of a degree Project Manager: 2 years of experience in Project Management, Construction Management, Electric Utility Industry, or related field. Possesses strong analytical and communication skills Demonstrates excellent planning and organizational skills Able to lead large, multi-disciplinary teams to timely meet objectives Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel & Outlook, Power Point) Entergy is an Equal Opportunity Employer, Minority/Female/Disability/Vets.
