Client is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented
Quality Assurance Specialist IV
to support and oversee quality assurance processes in line with regulatory requirements. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the success and compliance of Solar Projects from ground-breaking through commissioning.
Contract Duration:
Contract through Oct 7 2026 (High potential for extension)
Location:
Houston, TX
Work Arrangement:
Hybrid (In-office Mon Tue Thu; remote Wed Fri)
Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with all relevant quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct audits, inspections, and data/document reviews to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
Analyze quality data and generate reports that support business decisions.
Develop, implement, and monitor QA policies, procedures, and standards.
Provide leadership and direction to junior team members and project teams as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, construction, and project management.
Utilize extensive industry knowledge and professional judgment to plan and execute QA strategies.
Apply creativity and latitude in solving complex QA challenges within solar energy project environments.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
10+ years of direct experience
in quality assurance, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance.
Proven track record in managing QA in
solar projects
from development through commissioning.
Strong understanding of industry standards, auditing processes, and best practices.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience leading teams or QA initiatives across large-scale projects.
Preferred Skills
Experience with renewable energy projects, particularly solar.
Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems.
Certifications such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or CQA (Certified Quality Auditor) are advantageous.
