Kharon is a highly disruptive and innovative organization that navigates risk at the intersection of global security threats and international commerce. Operating at the nexus of global security, Kharon aims to revolutionize how complex data is used to understand and operationalize risk for clients, including financial crimes, sanctions, export controls, and threat identifications. The Senior Product Designer will help shape user experiences across Kharon products and contribute to a scalable design system. Responsibilities

Conduct user research and ideation, create wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes, and deliver designs that clearly communicate product functionality and features. Monitor and evaluate user feedback and metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize the user experience. Conduct design reviews and UX vision discussions to ensure design decisions align with user needs and business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers and engineers to define user requirements, establish design goals, and ensure successful implementation of designs. Apply user-centered design principles to create intuitive and accessible interfaces. Develop design systems, guidelines, and standards to maintain a cohesive visual language across Kharon products. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Psychology, or related field; or equivalent practical experience. Master’s degree is a plus. 5–8+ years of professional experience in product/design/UX UI, with an updated portfolio. Experience with AI/agentic interfaces is a plus. Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite) and strong grasp of design systems, typography, color, and visual hierarchy. Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and applying data-driven insights to design decisions. Experience working cross-functionally in agile product development with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders. Ability to translate complex business requirements into intuitive, scalable design solutions. Strong storytelling and presentation skills; ability to articulate design rationale to technical and non-technical audiences. Skilled in creating interactive prototypes (Figma, InVision, Principle) and iterating quickly based on feedback. Experience building and maintaining design systems at scale, including leveraging component libraries. Awareness of emerging design and UX trends in digital product development.
