Group: Land Surveying Position: Right of Way Project Manager Location: Jeffersonville, IN Our team of 40+ professionals uses the latest tools such as GPS, robotic, and hydrographic surveying equipment. We handle land title surveys, topographic and boundary surveys, hydrographic, transportation, utility route surveys, right-of-way services, and construction staking. We seek a Professional Surveyor experienced in municipal public works and civil/site construction projects. The candidate will manage survey projects daily, supervise staff, and assist with proposals, fee negotiations, and contracts. Responsibilities Manage land survey projects related to transportation/right-of-way Coordinate with clients and internal teams professionally Direct survey crews and technicians Review work of survey staff Own monthly revenue and project performance Prepare Location Control Route Survey Plats Review title and encumbrance reports Prepare Right of Way Parcel Plats and Legal Descriptions Develop Right of Way Engineering documents and related tasks Develop Right of Way Plans Process field data into topographic surveys (preferred but not required) Analyze records and establish property lines, alignments, easements (preferred but not required) Download GIS data from public sources (preferred but not required) Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Must have passed the Fundamentals of Surveying (FS) exam or hold an active Indiana Professional Surveyor License At least 2 years of Right of Way surveying experience Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D MicroStation knowledge is a plus Microsoft Office skills INDOT prequalification in Right-of-Way Engineering is a plus Seniority level
