Job Title: Manager, Manufacturing Engineer Location: USA-NH-Londonderry - Akira Way Job Schedule: 9/80 – employees work 9 out of every 14 days (80 hours total) with every other Friday off Essential Functions
Reporting to the Sr Manager of Manufacturing Engineering, lead maintenance activities within a team of preventative maintenance engineers and technicians Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, production) to establish a proactive maintenance culture to improve productivity and minimize downtime Plan and execute maintenance activities Assist in troubleshooting technical issues Coordinate external suppliers or contractors for specialized maintenance Monitor KPIs such as equipment downtime, preventive to corrective maintenance ratios, MTTR, MTBF Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the team Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 9 years of related experience; Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years; in lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of related experience Preferred Additional Skills
Experience leading and motivating a team to meet departmental goals Experience deploying preventative maintenance teams and strategies Track record working in cross-functional teams and influencing organizational change Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to drive innovation Effective communication skills to build a cohesive team and collaborate with other departments About L3Harris
