Job Overview
As an
Aircraft Mechanic – Reclamations , you will support the teardown of aircraft at the end of their service life. This entry‑level role assists Reclamations Mechanics with removing and preparing parts for reuse and performing basic maintenance tasks under direct supervision. It’s an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience, learn aircraft systems, and start building your aviation maintenance career.
Shift Flexibility As a 24/7 operation, we have openings across all shifts—including standard day shifts, 2nd shift, weekend shifts, and 12‑hour shifts. Candidates must be flexible and willing to be assigned to any shift based on operational needs.
Responsibilities
Prepare aircraft for teardown, including cleaning parts, removing, and cataloging aircraft components for teardown.
Perform basic aircraft de‑servicing tasks such as defueling, hydraulic system draining, and oxygen and fire systems deactivation.
Document training received on training records and ensure sign‑off by immediate Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.
Support shop operations by performing maintenance on company equipment and general housekeeping duties.
Ensure that all work is performed in a safe manner, protecting employees from harm and maintaining safe working conditions.

Ability to organize and plan work while meeting deadlines.
Strong attention to detail with basic mathematical skills.
Ability to interpret and apply technical data related to the position.
Ability to safely drive and operate a standard‑shift vehicle and other applicable equipment.
Ability to work effectively under supervision.
Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Six months to one year of experience in aircraft or automotive maintenance preferred.
Ability to read, write, and understand English, including following verbal and written instructions.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and reaching above shoulder level.
Occasional crawling, climbing, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Comfortable with confined spaces.
Requires eye‑hand coordination and manual dexterity.
Corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

Work location is in Aircraft Reclamations.
Exposure to high‑intensity noise levels.
Exposure to extreme changes in temperature.
Exposure to materials identified on Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
Working at unprotected heights.
Working around moving machinery.
Aircraft fuel tank entry.
Other Duties
May be required to work at both Marana, AZ and Tucson, AZ locations as business needs dictate.
Additional duties may be assigned at the discretion of department management.
