The Company is looking for a full-time Structural Designer to add to the team. We are looking for an ambitious candidate that is fluent in AutoCAD and has the ability to produce structural designs and details for residential buildings under tight time constraints. This person is preferred to have previously designed buildings with steel, wood, and concrete. Additional experience working with mechanicals and HVAC considered a plus. They need to be very reliable, hardworking, and self-starter that enjoys a challenge. You would be joining an energetic team environment in our growing Houston office with potential for development and growth. Requirements

Excellent AutoCAD skills 2-6 years structural design experience in the building design industry Experienced in wood-framed construction Familiarity with building codes a plus Understanding of building envelope requirements Strong writing/grammar skills Able to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally with Architects, Builders, and Owners Strong organization and time management skills which includes the ability to multi-task and run multiple projects concurrently Willingness to work long days and weekends as required Work Schedule

Generally Monday – Friday day shift, however additional hours, including weekend hours, may be required in accordance with changing business needs. Benefits
