Overview
Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare has immediate openings for Part-time Licensed Therapists in Northern New Jersey to provide In-Home and Center-Based weekly therapeutic services for youth with mental health disorders. Base pay range: $45.00/hr - $75.00/hr. This range is provided by Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Responsibilities
Providing individual In-home therapy, group therapy sessions, Telehealth therapy, and outpatient center sessions. Performing bio-psycho-social assessments is a plus. Provide coping and social skills, anger management, and reduce risk behaviors such as SIB or physical aggression. Work to improve youth and caretaker decision-making skills to manage in-home behavioral challenges. Collaborate effectively and consistently with the Child Family Treatment Team and/or professionals from other disciplines who also work to support the youth and family. Submit all required documentation and paperwork within designated time frames (intake, treatment plan, DAP notes, etc.). Attend monthly meetings and submit mandatory clinical documentation. Must be able to complete or be willing to train for Bio-Psycho-Social assessments. Qualifications
Must have a master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related fields such as LSW, LAC, LFT. Has Clinical Mental Health Trauma Counseling Training. Has some training or willing to complete Crisis Intervention Training. Has post-internship field experience working with youth with mental health disorders with clinical experience. Has experience with creating treatment planning, treatment goals setting, progress notes, and initial assessments. Has experience in various counseling approaches: CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and Trauma Response. Knows how to use the DSM-V for Assessments and Diagnosis. Must be available for a minimum 6-10 hours per week during after-school hours from 12 noon through 8 pm. Weekend flexibility is a plus. Must have experience providing positive behavior supports. Must have prior experience working with children ages 3-20; experience with children with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) is a plus. Must have a valid driver’s license and a registered vehicle. Must pass a criminal background check, inclusive of fingerprinting. Must submit resume plus copies of master’s degree, with a copy of NJ or Certification or License. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship. We are unable to sponsor H-1B or other employment visas at this time. Note:
State Reciprocity is considered but the candidate needs to be no more than 25-30 minutes commute to the designated service areas. The license must be registered with the NJ Marriage & Family Therapy Board (i.e., PA, NY & NJ). Licenses / Roles
