RN – Neurovascular, Medical Surgical Unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. This posting represents a .9 FTE, day shift opening (7am-7:30pm, varied days, 3, 12 hour shifts per week) with rotating weekends. We are an accredited comprehensive stroke center and epilepsy unit. This specialized unit cares for post-operative neurosurgery and EMU patients. Stroke patients generally stay in the hospital for approximately five to seven days. During their stay, the interprofessional stroke team works collaboratively to provide patient and family-centred and evidence-based stroke care. Responsibilities
