Job Description
RN – Neurovascular, Medical Surgical Unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.
This posting represents a .9 FTE, NIGHT shift opening (7pm-7:30am, varied days, 3-12 hour shifts per week) with rotating weekends.
Shift and Schedule Full time, multiple shifts available.
Night shift differential $10.00 p/hr, weekend shift differential $2.00 p/hr.
Responsibilities
Provide patient and family‑centered, evidence‑based stroke care.
Collaborate with interprofessional stroke team to deliver world‑class health with human connection.
Care for post‑operative neurosurgery and EMU patients, including those who received hyperacute interventions such as endovascular thrombectomy or thrombolysis.
Support patients staying in hospital for approximately five to seven days and coordinate care transitions.
Maintain documentation and adhere to accredited comprehensive stroke center protocols.
Extra Incentives
Night shift differential – $10.00 p/hr
Weekend shift differential – $2.00 p/hr
$6,000 hiring bonus offered for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
Relocation assistance offered for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Required Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification upon hire.
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate – NIH Stroke Scale Training Course within 90 days of hire.
1 year of nursing experience.
