Key Responsibilities
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in elementary school students. Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet each student's needs. Implement effective therapy strategies and modify them according to student progress. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to ensure a cohesive approach to student care. Maintain accurate records of student assessments, progress, and interventions. Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders. Current state licensure and ASHA certificate of clinical competence (CCC). Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
