Project Engineer – Electrical (Data Centers) We are seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join our team, specializing in the design, construction, and commissioning of critical electrical infrastructure for data centers. This role focuses on delivering reliable, scalable, and redundant power systems that meet Tier certification and uptime standards. Responsibilities
Lead electrical engineering projects for new builds, expansions, and retrofits of data center facilities Manage project schedules, budgets, and coordination with contractors, operators, and vendors Design electrical distribution systems from utility through UPS, generators, and switchgear Develop redundant power architectures (N+1, 2N) and perform load calculations Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, TIA-942, and other industry standards Oversee construction quality, review submittals, and support commissioning activities Prepare as-built documentation and O&M manuals Qualifications
5–10 years of electrical engineering experience with a focus on mission-critical facilities 3+ years of direct data center electrical design experience (hyperscale, colocation, or enterprise) Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, Revit MEP, and electrical analysis software (SKM, ETAP) Strong knowledge of UPS systems, generators, switchgear, and medium-voltage distribution Familiarity with Tier certification processes and uptime requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) required; certifications such as DCCA, CEM, or LEED AP preferred Why Join Us
