Omya . Under the direction of the Geology & Mining Manager, this role is responsible for the safe execution of mine plans and operations, providing ore control and tonnage requirements for the plant. Responsibilities include supporting or directing daily quarry operations, ensuring safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance, and supporting economic and sustainable development of mineral resources. The role also involves managing OPEX and CAPEX budgets, monthly reporting, and supporting mine planning projects. Responsibilities

Manage quarry operations to follow development plans, meet feed stone requirements, and comply with permit conditions and regulations. Support or manage Amboy quarry mining campaigns as required. Coordinate with plant staff on quality control, ore processing, and feed stone consistency. Promote safety awareness and MSHA compliance. Ensure proper blasting and equipment activities for optimized mining production. Monitor quarry production and development volumes. Support budgeting activities for OPEX and CAPEX. Prepare annual mine plans and monthly extraction charts, and support regional mine planning projects. Maintain and update production maps and geologic models. Manage stockpile inventories as needed. Travel may be required; support other quarry operations as assigned. Qualifications

Degree in mine engineering, geologic engineering, or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in hard rock open pit quarry operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and mine planning software (preferably Surpac). Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams. Knowledge of quality and grade control methodologies and database software. Additional Details
