Base pay range $132,900.00/yr - $174,450.00/yr

Location and Availability This job opportunity is available at ANY location in the United States. Ideally, selected candidates will be near a JACOBS U.S. based office, but we intend to hire the "best" candidates regardless of exact location.

Job Overview We’re looking for a Senior Civil Engineer with a focus on advanced manufacturing and data center site development. You’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks and work closely with a highly multidisciplinary team to conceptualize initial civil design for land/site development, prepare grading plans, and perform earthwork and drainage/stormwater calculations.

Key Contributions

Site development, site master planning and site selection

Underground utility routing and site space planning

Hydrology analysis for storm drain systems

Design of gravitational wastewater systems

Final grading plans including cut‑and‑fill analysis and earthwork balancing

Erosion and sediment control plans and stormwater pollution prevention plans

Compliance with local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements

Stormwater analysis and modeling in software such as StormCAD, CivilStorm, and Civil 3D

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

8 or more years of engineering experience with extensive project experience in medium‑to‑large industrial developments

Strong knowledge of all aspects of medium to large scale industrial site development

Demonstrated experience with all design modules of AutoCAD Civil 3D

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong analytical, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills

Ability to collaborate effectively in multi‑disciplinary teams

Displayed ability to learn quickly and a drive to broaden knowledge base

PE certification (ideal)

Bluebeam experience (ideal)

Experience using Navisworks (ideal)
