We’re looking for a motivated Structural Engineer II to join our growing Structural Engineering Department in Raleigh, NC. What You’ll Do
Perform structural analysis and design using both manual calculations and advanced software tools.
Develop internal tools to streamline analysis, design workflows, and report automation.
Provide CAD support for structural design drawings and collaborate with other departments.
Coordinate with field teams for structure mapping and inspection projects.
Prepare detailed engineering reports with recommendations for commercial and telecom structures.
Review local and jurisdictional requirements to ensure compliance in design and construction.
Communicate directly with clients to understand design needs and meet production deadlines.
Conduct QA/QC reviews of work completed by other engineering and technical staff.
What You Bring Proficiency with commercial tower analysis software such as tnxTower.
Familiarity with finite-element software like RISA 3D.
Knowledge of foundation analysis and design tools.
Skilled in visual calculation software such as MathCAD.
Experience with AutoCAD 2012 or later.
Strong command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
Programming experience with VBA and other object-oriented languages.
Preferred Qualifications 1–2 years of experience in structural engineering or a related field.
Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
Intermediate knowledge of tower and foundation reinforcement techniques.
Experience in wireless telecommunications structure analysis and design.
Understanding of structure mapping and inspection practices.
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited institution.
EIT (Engineer in Training) or Engineering Intern (EI) certification preferred.
