California Nursing Job Details
Assignment Length: 13 weeks (October 6, 2025 – January 5, 2026)
Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Healthcare Setting: Labor & Delivery Unit (Building B, Vintage Tower, 2nd Floor)
On-Site Registered Nurse Position
Weekend shifts and floating to Postpartum-Couplets as needed
Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,360 - $2,420 per week
Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active California RN license required
Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience; 2+ years preferred
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
Experience with GE fetal monitoring and EMR systems (CPN, Meditech) preferred
Ability to provide couplet care and float to postpartum unit as needed
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients and newborns in a clinical setting
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using advanced healthcare technology
Assist with procedures including NSTs, cervical exams, medication titration, and McRoberts maneuver
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
Float to postpartum/couplet care as needed
Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Adhere to hospital policies and participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives
