CAM Operator Job Purpose: The CAM Operator is responsible for reviewing customer supplied data and drawings, performing design rule checks and creation of manufacturing data, programs and tools required for the manufacture of PCB. Nature of Duties/Responsibilities: Import customer data into Genesis or Incam Pro. Perform design rule checks and edit data to comply with manufacturing guidelines. Create array configurations, route, panelization and output data for production use. Work with process engineers to evaluate and provide strategy for advanced processing as needed. Understand and follow Sanmina policies and procedures. Education/Experience: College education with emphasis on Programming/Computer Science preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CAM Operator in a Printed Circuit manufacturing environment is preferred. Prior experience in a printed circuit manufacturing environment is preferred. Ability to read blueprints, customer specifications and familiarity with Industry Standards such as IPC. Good written and verbal customer communication skills; PC literacy is required. Salary Range (annual): $64,896.00 - $83,200.00 Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate’s years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills.
