WB Residential Communities is seeking a Property Manager for an affordable LIHTC and section 8 community located in New Paltz, New York.
Essential Functions
HR/Payroll management Maintains a high level of continued occupancy Maintains well-documented tenant files and related documentation regarding application intake, tenant recertification and continuing eligibility in accordance with policies and procedures Interaction with residents, including rent collection, lease administration, annual recertifications and tenant retention Conducts timely property inspections, including move-in and move-out Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports, including rent rolls, rent adjustments, tenant lists, delinquency reports, list of vacant units and transfer requests Documents and reports deficiencies, prioritizes repairs and follows up with appropriate personnel to ensure timely completion of repairs Weekly/Monthly reporting to corporate and third-party partners Other duties may be assigned as required Requirements & Competencies
Knowledge of local and federal laws Excellent verbal and written skills Ability to manage a property budget and ensure budget compliance Proficient in Yardi, MS Excel and Word; Outlook; bookkeeping, A/P, A/R and budgets Certification and working knowledge of LIHTC and HUD Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work with attention to detail Self-motivated and self-directed individuals willing to take initiative Strong interpersonal skills Education / Requirements
High School Diploma 3-5 years in affordable property management LIHTC certification preferred Pay: $75,000.00 per year Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00 am – 5:30 pm 401(k) Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Seniority level
