The Plant Manager directly leads all departments and functions of the manufacturing facility, including Admin, Inventory, Production, Packaging, and Facilities. Responsibilities include ensuring accountability, strategic planning and organization of production operations, overseeing production processes, communicating with partner departments, reviewing and approving payroll, managing budgets, and providing monthly production analysis to the Sr. Director of Operations. Hires, trains, and develops leaders within the organization Directly supervises Admin, Inventory, Production, Packaging, and Facilities teams Clearly communicate with Department Managers to provide adequate support Audit employee performance reviews with Department Managers Oversee hiring and termination processes Train and develop Department Managers and ensure staff follow training schedules Partner with Sales and Sales Ops to ensure production meets demand Foster a culture of accountability at all levels Maintain inventory and transfer compliance management up to date (CTS, production loss, returns/damaged product, transportation) and ensure quantities stay within ±5% of reported figures; ensure compliance with state laws Drive results in production quotas and people metrics; monitor sales and market trends and report findings Forecast, purchase, and allocate raw materials and components; manage lead times and storage for on-site and off-site locations Oversee the Food Safety Compliance Program, including training, audits, coaching, corrective action, and compliance testing Sort through complex information to solve problems and foster a motivated workplace culture aligned with organizational objectives Qualifications

At least 5 years of directly-related experience in manufacturing or packaging, preferably food or beverage; or equivalent education/experience Experience working with urgency in a fast-paced environment At least 2 years leading large, diverse teams across multiple departments Proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and inventory management systems High attention to detail; strong problem-solving skills under pressure Excellent conflict resolution, communication, teaching, and learning abilities Willingness to travel to additional locations and facilities as needed Strong communication with various levels within the company Advanced mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) Ability to perform advanced visual quality inspections on products Willing to submit to a background check; obtain all state permits, licenses, and certifications required ServSafe Food Handler’s Card preferred State regulations require all applicants be 21 years of age or older Benefits
