National Alternative Project Delivery (APD) Leader, National APD Leader, who will be responsible for managing the overall execution and procurement processes of all alternative projects in the GFT portfolio. This position crosses all business lines within GFT, including transportation, water, power, construction services (including EPC), and buildings and places. The option exists to work remotely from any GFT US location. What You Will Do

What You Will Do Coordinate with GFT business line leaders to successfully implement design-build projects, progressive design build projects, integrated project delivery, construction management-at-risk, private-public partnerships, and EPC (engineer-procure-construction). Demonstrate knowledge of all delivery methods with hands-on experience in several methods. Manage the corporate APD risk portfolio and partner with GFT legal and insurance to guide executive management on corporate risk generated by APD projects across all business lines. Lead the overall coordination and delivery of design on large, complex nationwide APD projects. Maintain diverse relationships with contractors, owner representatives, and project stakeholders. Direct planning, direction, and coordination of multi-discipline design staff from multiple business lines in high-intensity, multi-office environments. Work with project controls and scheduling to manage projects, analyze earned value and schedule performance, and ensure objectives are met within time and funding parameters. Collaborate with the business group leader on quality, client interface, staffing utilization, contract management, billing collection, and project profitability. Participate in interviews and presentations to support and grow the APD practice nationally. Hold weekly APD Risk committee meetings with senior management to assess prospective projects; coordinate legal reviews and obtain Go/No-Go approvals through stage-gate processes. Represent GFT at client meetings, presentations, and public hearings/reviews related to assigned projects. Develop and confirm financial and project delivery schedule activities across all disciplines. Ensure compliance with contracts and enforce cost controls to deliver approved designs within budget. Provide leadership, organization, and coordination of project assignments for large-scale, complex projects. Qualifications and Experience

Education | Experience: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (minimum). Financial and risk management acumen demonstrated in prior career experience. Minimum 20 years’ experience in complex multi-discipline highway project design management, including one or more Design-Build and/or PPP projects as Design Manager for multi-discipline projects. Experience in risk management analysis and techniques, including Monte Carlo analysis (desirable). What We Bring

Compensation The salary range for this role is $250,000 - $415,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
