Overview
Description : Role Purpose : You will transform raw data into actionable insights, mentor a small team, and set best-in-class standards for modeling, data engineering, and visualization. You will act as both a hands-on data expert and strategic thought partner, designing predictive models, building intuitive dashboards, and guiding executives with clear, business-oriented recommendations. Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making. Provide training, guidance, and daily support to team members, addressing challenges related to workflow, process improvements, and operational issues. Act as the primary point of contact for administrative inquiries, including attendance, system disruptions, and operational concerns. Analytics & Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize Power BI, SQL, and Python to analyze inventory trends, optimize stock levels, and generate actionable insights. Develop and maintain predictive models to enhance demand forecasting, reduce stockouts, and improve inventory turnover. Design and maintain dashboards that surface KPIs, trends, and “so-what” insights for non-technical audiences. Inventory & Supply Chain Optimization: Design and implement inventory control strategies, leveraging techniques such as ABC analysis, safety stock calculations, and economic order quantity (EOQ) modeling. Work cross-functionally with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to improve inventory planning and allocation. Identify risks related to inventory management (e.g., supply disruptions, demand fluctuations) and develop mitigation strategies. Process Improvement & Continuous Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in inventory management and propose data-driven process improvements to enhance supply chain operations. Leverage automation and advanced analytics to streamline replenishment processes and reduce carrying costs. Stay up to date with industry trends, analytics innovations, and emerging technologies to drive best practices in supply chain analytics. Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar. 6+ years of experience, with at least some experience leading or mentoring teams. Strong analytical and data modeling skills, with experience in Power BI, SQL, and Python preferred. Working knowledge of GenAI (LLMs) for analytical productivity. Experience with inventory management techniques and supply chain analytics. Familiarity with ERP systems (LN INFOR, WMS, TMS, Logility, or similar). Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to translate data into actionable strategies. Executive-ready communication, hypothesis-driven problem-solving, and cross-cultural stakeholder management.
