Lazarus Naturals
Etz Hayim owns and operates the brands Cycling Frog and Lazarus Naturals, with a vertically integrated operation spanning farming (over 300 acres of hemp), extraction, chemical processing, packaging, and warehousing to support both brands and private label customers.
Lazarus Naturals was founded in 2016 to provide safe and accessible CBD products for everyone who would benefit from them, regardless of financial situation or ability to pay, including a 60% Assistance Program to veterans and people with disabilities or low incomes. We aim to maintain affordable pricing through a vertically integrated business model that covers product inception, development, seed, farming, extraction, finished production formulation, packaging, and distribution.
Cycling Frog is normalizing the consumption of casual-use THC products, focusing on lower-potency, ready-to-drink beverages that are affordable and convenient. Under the Federal Farm Bill it is legal to sell these low-potency THC products across all 50 states via the internet and in places where beer is sold.
This role will be based in Portland.

Manage regional demand planning, aligning stock levels to location-based demand, order velocity, and cost-to-serve economics while minimizing freight and production costs. Integrate scenario planning for new launches, promotions, and seasonal surges; quantify impacts on supply, production, sourcing, and logistics.
Analyze large datasets and develop predictive models to improve replenishment strategies, service levels, minimize OOS, and optimize working capital. Develop processes for balance sheet minimization via forecasting accuracy improvements and JIT purchasing and planning.
Oversee co-manufacturing production planning and scheduling volumes; collaborate with internal production planners to prevent stockouts and balance inventory. Develop redundancies for demand surges and capacity issues.
Lead strategic sourcing and purchasing initiatives: supplier selection, RFPs, contract negotiations, cost modeling, scorecards, and risk frameworks. Collaborate with cross-departmental stakeholders on ideal scenario development. Evaluate total landed cost and supplier tradeoffs to guide purchasing and deployment decisions.
Design, build, and maintain forecasting, purchasing, and supplier analytics dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio, Excel/Sheets); monitor forecast accuracy, service levels, supplier performance, and spend. Establish reporting cadences (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to communicate KPIs, revenue loss, inventory health, root causes, and corrective actions to leadership.
Be the primary stakeholder for ERP purchasing module implementation; document requirements, partner with IT, and ensure integration with supply chain planning and BI tools. Develop tools, spreadsheets, and systems to support better supply chain outcomes.
Other related duties as assigned.
