Overview
Vice President, Head of Recruiting - Bullpen A nationally recognized commercial real estate finance firm is seeking a Healthcare Asset Manager to join its growing bridge lending platform. This individual will play a key role in re-establishing the internal bridge asset management function, overseeing a portfolio of transitional healthcare assets across the U.S. The firm’s bridge lending platform has originated more than $13 billion in loans since inception, including nearly $1.4 billion in 2024, and currently manages a $4B+ active portfolio spanning 150+ loans. What You’ll Do
Manage a diverse portfolio of complex healthcare bridge loans. Collaborate with borrowers, property managers, and servicing teams to collect, normalize, and analyze operating and financial statements. Monitor asset performance against original business plans and underwriting assumptions. Prepare regular reports for co-investors, warehouse line providers, and senior leadership. Develop and execute strategies to resolve underperforming or delinquent loans. Review loan documents and third-party reports (PNAs, appraisals, BOVs). Conduct property inspections as required and maintain consistent borrower communication. Work cross-functionally with internal departments including Finance, Legal, Accounting, and Servicing. What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (required). 3–6 years of experience in real estate lending or asset management, ideally within healthcare or bridge lending. Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. High attention to detail, intellectual honesty, and a proactive problem-solving mindset. Seniority level
