Nuclear Medical Technologist - PRN/Per Diem
Our Imaging Teams are a committed, caring group of colleagues. We are seeking a Florida-licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a PRN/per diem/as-needed basis. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals. You will perform these procedures in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner. We prioritize patient care. If you are dedicated to caring for the well-being of others, this could be your next opportunity. Your tasks and responsibilities may include but not be limited to:
Perform instrument quality control Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients Perform imaging and therapeutic procedures Maintain accurate records of the receipt, usage and disposal of all radioactive materials Will apply the principles of radiation protection at all times Position patients and adjust immobilization devices May also assist with transporting patients as needed Qualifications:
Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Technology training program in an AMA-approved school Valid ARRT (N) registration and/or certification through NMTCB Clear/active State of Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital
