General Practice (Veterinarian)

A specialty equine hospital in the heart of Kentucky horse country is seeking a dedicated veterinarian to join its field services team. This role involves providing general and emergency ambulatory care, with a strong focus on mare and foal medicine, equine reproduction, and expanding the practice within Central Kentucky. Responsibilities include routine wellness exams, vaccinations, radiograph review, herd health management, and specialized care for prepartum and postpartum mares, neonates, and young stock. The position requires participation in a shared on-call rotation, with increased availability during the breeding season. Base salary of $80-100k with pro-sal options negotiable Full-Time benefits starting at 10 shifts per 4 weeks Minimum of $10k in relocation assistance for all full-time candidates, or travel allowances for any non-local candidates Generous signing and retention bonuses Negotiable CE allowance and/or license and dues reimbursements for part-time candidates working a minimum of 4 shifts per month Higher base salaries available for commitment of 12+ shifts per 4 weeks Higher base salaries or shift differentials for DVMs interested in working overnight shifts Seniority Level
