Responsibilities Under the direction of the radiologist, the Computed Tomographic (CT) Technologist performs all computerized tomography scans on various portions of the body to assist the Medical Staff in the detection of abnormalities. This position performs duties and functions of a Radiology Technologist as assigned. It requires providing care/service to patients of all ages, demonstrating an understanding of their developmental needs.
Qualifications
One year full-time CT-specific work experience in an acute care environment.
Completed an accredited educational program related to radiology and registered with the American Registry (CT ARRT), ART, CRT, and CPR/BLS certification required.
ARRT certification required.
Certification in computed tomography.
Experience with Siemens CT Scanners preferred.
