Overview
Hutto Animal Hospital in Hutto, TX seeks a full-time hospital manager to join our friendly, community-oriented practice. This is a brand-new hospital that will provide general services to Hutto and surrounding communities of Austin and Round Rock. We are looking for someone to help build Hutto Animal Hospital into a full-service practice that provides quality care to dogs and cats, hiring and developing a dedicated team that includes a large, experienced support staff who will provide exceptional care. Our ideal candidate is a reliable self-starter, works well with others, and can effectively drive and support new hospital growth. Applicants must be highly organized and detail oriented. The candidate is expected to be proficient in the following areas:
Analytical skills:
strong ability to analyze information quickly and efficiently as it relates to the hospital's finances.
Strategic planning:
the ability for financial forecasting, marketing plans, and long-term plans for the growth of the practice.
Leadership:
ability to effectively manage and direct hospital staff toward a common goal
Decision-making skills:
possess the ability to make good decisions, solve problems, and decide on essential matters.
Communications:
demonstrate the ability to communicate, orally, and in writing, effectively to convene necessary information to hospital staff.
Resourcefulness and adaptability:
the ability to take the initiative and get things done as well as the ability to adapt to changes or new information.
Compliance:
ability to understand and manage important compliance regulations and requirements of the hospital.
Planning and prioritizing:
must be able to organize work efficiently, set priorities, and establish plans and timetables for achieving goals.
Hutto Animal Hospital is a brand-new practice that offers general services to Hutto, TX and surrounding communities of Austin and Round Rock, TX. We are looking for someone to help build Hutto Animal Hospital into a full-service practice that provides quality care to dogs and cats, hiring and developing a dedicated team that includes a large, experienced support staff who will provide exceptional care. Given the location, we anticipate becoming a fast-paced hospital. We are looking for an individual who can develop rapport with staff and clients and has a passion for veterinary medicine.
About the Hospital
Well-established sister practice in Round Rock, serving the community for many years
New building and facility coming soon with over 3000 square feet to work out of
High-quality and up-to-date new equipment includes sevoflurane anesthesia, cardiac and respiratory monitors, pulse oximetry, EKG, BP, digital radiography, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, and a fully equipped laboratory
General and Dental Surgery, including digital and dental X-ray
Power lift tables and computers in exam rooms
Laid-back culture with a collaborative work setting, including monthly staff and doctor meetings
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in business, health science, or a related field is strongly preferred but not required.
At a minimum, five years of direct office management experience, including at least two years of supervisory experience, is required.
Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) or Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) is preferred but not required.
May consider an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
