Overview
Hospital Manager Wanted for Brand New Hospital in Hutto, TX (Austin - Round Rock Area). Hutto Animal Hospital in Hutto, TX seeks a full-time hospital manager to join our friendly, community-oriented practice.
We are looking for someone to help build Hutto Animal Hospital into a full-service practice that provides quality care to dogs and cats, hiring and developing a dedicated team that includes a large, experienced support staff who will provide exceptional care. Given the location, we anticipate becoming a fast-paced hospital. We are looking for an individual who can develop rapport with staff and clients and has a passion for veterinary medicine.
Responsibilities
Lead and direct hospital staff toward common goals; manage day-to-day operations in a fast-paced setting.
Drive and support growth of the new hospital through strategic planning, financial forecasting, and marketing plans.
Monitor and improve hospital finances and performance metrics.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and requirements.
Plan, prioritize, and organize work; develop timelines to achieve goals.
Foster effective communication with staff and clients, both orally and in writing.
Demonstrate resourcefulness and adaptability to changes or new information.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in business, health science, or a related field is strongly preferred but not required.
At a minimum, five years of direct office management experience, including at least two years of supervisory experience, is required.
Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) or Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) is preferred but not required.
May consider an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.

Well-established sister practice in Round Rock, serving the community for many years.
New building and facility coming soon with over 3,000 square feet of space.
High-quality equipment including sevoflurane anesthesia, cardiac/respiratory monitors, EKG, BP, digital radiography, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, and a fully equipped laboratory.
General and Dental Surgery, including digital and dental X-ray.
Power lift tables and computers in exam rooms.
Laid-back culture with a collaborative work setting and monthly staff and doctor meetings.
