An expanding compounding pharmacy located in Tracy, CA is seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist with expertise in sterile compounding to join their team in a direct-hire capacity. Responsibilities
Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounded medications, including injectables, IV solutions, creams, capsules, and ophthalmics, adhering strictly to USP and regulatory standards.
Perform quality control checks and maintain aseptic conditions to ensure patient safety.
Stay current with FDA, USP, and state pharmacy regulations; support audits, inspections, and necessary documentation.
Collaborate with prescribers to develop customized medication formulations and provide expert guidance.
Work closely with pharmacy staff to support daily operations and promote a culture focused on safety and continuous improvement.
Qualifications And Desired Experience
Active California Pharmacist License.
Proven experience in sterile compounding within a pharmacy setting.
Comprehensive knowledge of USP guidelines relevant to sterile and non-sterile compounding.
Prior experience in a compounding pharmacy environment is highly preferred.
