Greet and escort patients to exam rooms, monitor wait times, and assist with exam preparation Record vital signs, medical histories, allergies, and chief complaints with precision Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in the EMR system Ensure lab reports and other documentation are available prior to appointments Provide interpretation services and clerical support to streamline office operations Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and organized Verify medical insurance coverage and update patient information Retrieve and file medical reports and lab results Uphold HIPAA standards and protect patient confidentiality Required Skills
Proficiency in taking vitals and using EMR systems Experience scheduling appointments and managing patient flow At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with EPIC and other patient care systems Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience Work Environment
High-volume outpatient offices in Scarsdale, Hawthorne, and White Plains Monday to Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Patient volume ranges from 50 to 100 per day Collaborative and supportive team culture Benefits
