We are seeking a skilled and compassionate APN or PA to join our Preanesthesia Clinic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in optimizing patients for surgery by conducting comprehensive preoperative assessments, identifying and managing risk factors, and collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of safety and quality. As an APP in our clinic, you will have the opportunity to lead patient-centered care, streamline the surgical pathway, and contribute to innovative practices that enhance outcomes and patient experience. This position is ideal for a highly motivated provider who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about advancing perioperative care. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive preoperative assessments and identify risk factors to optimize patients for surgery. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, RNs, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety and quality in the perioperative pathway. Lead patient-centered care and contribute to process improvements in the surgical workflow. Hybrid role involving both inpatient and outpatient care with an emphasis on independent work and collaboration. Inpatient duties may include chart review/optimization for up to 15 patients per day; outpatient duties involve educating and providing care to 6-8 patients per day. Schedule: Monday–Friday, no on-call, weekends or holidays. Pay and Benefits Expected pay for this position is $60.39 - $68.10 per hour. This is a salaried position. Clinical base hourly pay range for this position is $60.39–$73.68; range is an estimate and may vary based on experience, qualifications, and other factors. Licensed to provide advanced practice nursing services in Illinois (APN/NP) or physician assistant services in Illinois, in accordance with applicable State Acts; licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois for prescribing narcotics.
