A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a K-12 school located in Portland, ME. This contract role spans the entire school year and involves providing direct speech and language services to students ranging from PreK through 12th grade. The schedule is 35 hours per week and requires onsite presence alongside two other SLPs.
Key responsibilities include delivering individualized therapy services, conducting evaluations, and maintaining accurate progress reports for assigned students. The caseload will involve working closely with students who have diverse speech and language needs. Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) is preferred but not essential.
Desired Qualifications And Experience
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Proven ability to assess, treat, and document progress for students spanning early childhood through high school Familiarity with a variety of speech and language disorders in school-aged populations Effective communication skills for collaborating with educational teams, families, and other professionals Experience or knowledge in AAC is advantageous, enhancing support for students with alternative communication needs
Location: Portland, ME (onsite at the school)
