Overview
A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a K-12 school setting. This contract position requires a dedicated professional holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) specializing in speech-language pathology to deliver high-quality therapy services to students. The role offers an opportunity to work 20 hours per week (.5 FTE) between now and June 16, 2026. Responsibilities
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs). Provide therapy services that promote language development and communication effectiveness. Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with educational and clinical standards. Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress evaluations. Qualifications
Current SLP certificate with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required. Experience working in a K-12 educational environment preferred. Ability to manage caseload effectively while maintaining strong communication skills. Proven ability to create engaging, evidence-based therapy plans tailored to student needs. Location & Schedule
Position is based in a Lynnwood, WA area K-12 school. One school location with a .5 SLP workload (approximately 20 hours per week). Contract duration: ASAP through June 16, 2026. Benefits
