As a Veterinary Technician, you'll play an important role in pets' lives by providing comprehensive care throughout their journey. Your responsibilities include outpatient treatments, laboratory tests, surgery assistance, and support services such as admitting and discharging patients. Experience & Skills Requirements: Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an emergency veterinary technician ECC/CVT/LVT/RVT encouraged to apply Experience in anesthesia, surgical assisting, and post-operative care Excellent problem-solving abilities Strong attention to detail Ability to observe animal behavior and condition Provide nursing care or emergency first aid Comfortable with anesthetic patient monitoring (preferred experience with ASA I-V) Familiarity with ventilators (preferred) Prepare animals and instruments for surgery Obtain blood pressure, interpret ECG, SpO2, ETC02, and assist in early intervention Collect and perform laboratory tests on samples Utilize digital radiography and advanced diagnostic equipment Administer medications and treatments prescribed by a veterinarian Record patients' case histories Role Responsibilities: Support veterinarians to ensure quality care, advocate for pets, and educate clients Assist with surgeries and procedures, maintaining compliance with state laws Communicate with clients about pet health concerns and treatments Maintain accurate medical records and histories Use safe restraining techniques and maintain sterile, organized areas Mentor and support fellow team members About the Hospital:
