Travel may be required.*** Duties and Responsibilities

Perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriological tests. Examine and analyze body fluids and cells; match blood for transfusions. Ensure compliance with the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) requirements for blood product maintenance. Analyze the chemical content of fluids and test for drug levels in blood. Prepare specimens, count cells, and identify abnormal cells in blood and body fluids. Analyze test results and communicate findings to physicians. Culture body fluids and tissue samples to detect bacteria, fungi, parasites, or other microorganisms. Test samples for chemical content or reactions; determine concentrations of compounds like glucose and cholesterol. Evaluate test results, develop and modify procedures, and establish monitoring programs to ensure test accuracy. Follow universal safety precautions to protect against biohazardous materials, including blood-borne pathogens. Order and stock supplies; maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to procedures and regulations. Maintain lab equipment, keep patient records, and manage work schedules and departmental resources. Provide supervision or act as Lead for the lab, guiding other technologists and technicians. Perform other duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications

Completion of a formal Medical Technology training program leading to a Bachelor's Degree. Certification by AMT, ASCP, or NCA. Current BLS certification. At least five years of experience as a Medical Technologist. Minimum one year in a Lead role. Recent clinical experience in direct patient care within the last 6 months. Ability to multitask, be detail-oriented, organized, and communicate effectively. Proficiency with computers and MS Office. Flexibility to adapt to shift changes and operational needs. Strong problem-solving skills. Proficiency in English communication skills. Physical Requirements and Work Conditions
