***This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel will likely be required.*** Duties and Responsibilities

Perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriological tests. Examine and analyze body fluids and cells; match blood for transfusions. Familiarity with the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) requirements for maintaining blood products for transfusion is required. Analyze the chemical content of fluids and test for drug levels in blood. Prepare specimens, count cells, and identify abnormal cells in blood and body fluids. Analyze test results and communicate findings to physicians. Culture body fluids and tissue samples to detect bacteria, fungi, parasites, or other microorganisms. Test samples for chemical content or reactions, determine concentrations of compounds like blood glucose and cholesterol. Evaluate test results, develop and modify procedures, and monitor programs to ensure test accuracy. Use universal safety precautions to protect against biohazards, including blood-borne pathogens. Order and stock supplies; maintain a safe, clean working environment in compliance with regulations. Maintain patient records, prepare lab equipment, and may oversee lab operations or staff. Provide supervision or act as Lead for the lab, guiding other technologists and technicians. Perform other duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications

Completed a formal Medical Technology training program leading to a Bachelor's Degree. Certified by AMT, ASCP, or NCA. Current BLS certification. Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Medical Technologist. At least 1 year in a Lead role. Recent clinical experience in direct patient care within the last 6 months. Ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent communication skills. Proficiency with computers, MS Office, and office equipment. Flexibility to adapt to work changes and shifts as needed. Strong problem-solving skills. Proficient in English communication skills. Physical Requirements and Work Conditions
