Managing Veterinarian
to our team and provide a new generation of leadership to our well-established practice. We offer opportunities to continually enhance skills and professional development. If you are interested in
surgery, reproduction, dentistry, and client communication , this is the place for you. We perform a wide caseload of soft tissue surgery, including C-sections and orthopedic surgeries. We also handle a diverse range of medical cases including theriogenology. We are equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, and laser therapy, and we are willing to obtain additional equipment as needed. We look forward to meeting you! Essential Responsibilities Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries. Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples; interpret results. Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options. Perform surgery and prescribe medications as needed. Provide counsel around pet end-of-life care. Maintain patients’ medical records. Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies, and procedures. Requirements / Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited AVMA institution. Appropriate state licensure. Eligibility to obtain DEA / BNDD registration. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional and courteous presentation with staff and clients. Ability to lift patients and equipment up to 25 pounds; assist with lifting over 25 pounds as needed.
