Responsibilities
Complete an initial treatment plan including basic and special needs. Treat and care for patients, demonstrating understanding of cognitive, emotional, and chronological status. Anticipate and provide for discharge needs. Chart patient's progress in conjunction with the specific treatment plan. Utilize available resources, including family, referral sources, prior treatment sources, and current multidisciplinary treatment team. Demonstrate accountability and responsibility for the therapeutic milieu. Validate the appropriateness of written orders. Implement physician and nursing orders as appropriate, involving patient, family, and significant others. Facilitate groups competently and conduct 1:1 interactions. Benefits

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Current RN Licensure in the State of Illinois. Current CPR – BLS certification. 1 year of nursing experience within inpatient psychiatry area - preferred. Successful completion of hospital and unit orientation programs.
