Monitor and evaluate production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications. Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions (RCCA) for non-conformances and customer complaints. Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve product quality and process efficiency. Develop and implement quality control plans, inspection procedures, and testing protocols. Perform audits of manufacturing processes to identify and resolve potential quality risks. Support the introduction of new products by validating quality requirements and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Train production personnel on quality best practices, including effect prevention and problem-solving techniques. Use statistical analysis and data-driven methodologies (such as Six-Sigma, SPC) to improve manufacturing quality. Maintain accurate records and reports related to quality metrics, defects, and corrective actions. Ensure compliance with ISO, ASHRAE, and other relevant industry and regulatory standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment, preferably in HVAC, refrigeration, or industrial equipment production or strong co-op/internship experience in manufacturing. Strong problem-solving skills and experience with tools such as 8D, FMEA, RCCA, and Six Sigma methodologies. Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and experience with ISO 9001 compliance. Familiarity with measurement tools, GD&T, and blueprint interpretation. Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes such as welding, brazing, assembly, and testing. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software (i.e. Minitab, Excel, or similar). Ability to thrive in fast-paced, on-the-floor manufacturing environment. Seniority level
