Sustaining Engineering Coordinator
– Navico Group
Position Overview As part of the Navico Group – Power Solutions team, you will support a wide portfolio of marine and RV electrical products. You will work with the cross‑functional team to quickly address field issues and implement product improvements for our customers.
Essential Functions
You will be the sustaining engineering coordinator for the Navico Group – Power Solutions global team.
You will collaborate with global teams encompassing technical service, engineering, product management, sourcing, manufacturing, marketing, and quality.
Manage the funnel of incoming projects in Jira. Assign projects to the appropriate Sustaining Engineers.
Lead a weekly Sustaining Engineering meeting with the global cross‑functional team.
Work with the cross‑functional leaders in Power Solutions to set priorities for the Sustaining Engineering projects.
Project manager for multiple sustaining engineering projects using a phase gate process.
Create and update Sustaining Engineering metrics.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree – Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 3 years of related experience
Highly motivated team player
Ability to successfully manage multiple projects
Proficient user of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with marine, RV, or mobile electrical products
Experience with injection molded plastics and metal stampings.
Experience with UL, CSA, CE, and ABYC requirements.
Proficient user of Jira
Proficient user of Creo and/or SolidWorks.
Experience with high voltage (48 VDC) systems.
Working Conditions
Hybrid office environment. Three days required in the office.
Electrical test lab
