Principal Responsibilities
Develop proposals for ASU, CO2, On-Site, and bulk projects, focusing on delivering practical, high-quality solutions. Lead and participate in customer meetings to establish technical criteria and explain proposals. Coordinate with internal teams to align project scopes, business cases, and proposal details. Create standard proposal documentation, including technical details, scope matrices, cost estimates, and schedules. Provide capital estimates to support project feasibility decisions. Host proposal handover meetings to ensure smooth transition to project management. Attend regular review meetings to align workload and proposal commitments. Qualify vendors, negotiate pricing, and establish terms with Procurement. Contribute to lessons-learned sessions and continuous improvement initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills
Experience with industrial gas equipment and project management methodologies. Willingness to travel approximately 10% or as needed. Knowledge of engineering rules, codes, and regulations pertinent to industrial gas projects. Experience in project execution or development. Strong communication and coordination skills. Ability to manage contractors and execute improvement projects independently. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of 5 years relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with industrial gases or petrochemical projects is a plus. About Messer
