who can lead procurement, inventory management, and supplier strategy in a manufacturing environment. This is a critical leadership role with a fast-paced, complex operation that needs someone who thrives on solving real problems, improving processes, and driving results with a team. This leader will provide direction, coaching, and structure, and help bring clarity and accountability to daily execution and long-term sourcing strategy. Description
Lead and coach a team of 5 Drive vendor expansion, global sourcing strategy, and cost savings Own inventory health - organize, optimize, and right-size for agility Manage global suppliers across Asia, Europe, and the Americas Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams Solve freight and tariff challenges with strategic sourcing and multi-sourcing Be the go-to person for process clarity, coaching, and getting things done Interface directly with global support teams (India, China) Profile
7+ years
in materials management, including
3+ years of team leadership Experience in
industrial manufacturing Proven track record managing global supply chains and multiple suppliers Strong with ERP systems, ideally
SAP Able to coach individuals but also hold them accountable to results Someone who gets energized by problem-solving and helping a team win Experience in a larger manufacturing environment ($50M+ preferred) Calm under pressure, but moves fast - comfortable with ambiguity Direct communicator, leadership presence, and team-first mentality Comfortable being onsite full time -
no remote option Procurement strategy / vendor savings project experience Experience working with overseas vendors and time zones Prior success building process Job Offer
