- Lead and manage the materials planning, purchasing, inventory control, and warehousing teams.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize material flow, reduce inventory costs, and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Collaborate closely with production, engineering, quality, and finance to align material planning with production schedules and business objectives.
- Analyze material requirements using ERP/MRP systems and ensure timely procurement of raw materials and components.
- Identify, qualify, and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and on-time delivery.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turns, purchase price variance, and supplier performance.
- Establish and enforce inventory accuracy and cycle counting programs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in materials management or supply chain roles within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years in a leadership or management capacity.
- Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor, etc.).
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, Just-In-Time (JIT), and other efficiency methodologies is a plus.
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is preferred.
- Competitive salary in the range of $130,000 to $160,000 annually.
