Our client, a leading technology innovator in the semiconductor industry, is seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Power and Performance Customer Attainment team, supporting cutting‑edge product development and validation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a solid foundation in electrical engineering principles, and a passion for innovation, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location Austin, TX (onsite)

What's the Job?

Collaborate with multifunctional teams and clients/OEMs to innovate and improve power validation of silicon products.

Engage in design, testing, and debugging of PC systems with a focus on platform‑level power models.

Work closely with internal system and software engineers, external vendors, and SoC architects to optimize power models and drivers.

Utilize your understanding of BIOS, OS, and driver interactions to troubleshoot and enhance product performance.

Participate in building and testing hardware components, including soldering and electrical design tasks.

What's Needed?

Recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with no more than 3‑5 years of experience (Master's degree candidates considered if recent and unrelated to Bachelor's).

Strong fundamentals in analog/digital design, signal/power integrity, and system‑level understanding of BIOS, OS, and driver interactions.

Proficiency in scripting and automation languages such as Perl, PowerShell, or Python.

Experience with PCB technology, electrical design, and characterization of DDR4/5, USB‑C, LPDP, MIPI, and I2C/SPI/UART buses is a plus.

Knowledge of MCU, power management, analog circuits, display technology, and CAD tools like Cadence Concept & Allegro is advantageous.
